Our company P.D.Powell & Sons was started in 1972 by Paul Powell, working as a heating contractor with 2/3 men doing New Builds, Heating & Plumbing installations and renovations to second holding properties. Paul’s wife Angela worked in the office doing the books and general administration.

In 1984 the company branched out into heating maintenance and servicing and continued to grow.

In 1993 the Bathroom & Fireplace Showroom was opened in Griffithstown, Pontypool. We have expanded the showroom over the past 23 years and currently occupy 1-5 Cambria Street.

The 1^st of Paul’s 3 sons, Nathan, joined the company in 1997 as an apprentice and currently works as the Lead Bathroom Installer. Scott, Pauls youngest son, joined as an apprentice in 2002 and works primarily on all heating installations. Lastly, Ryan, joined the company in 2012 after the end of his successfull rugby career, managing the showroom and office.
